Beyond the District Walls

In a world where walled-off cities, known as districts, seclude supernatural beings, humans determinedly keep themselves apart from the unknown world beyond the walls. In the rare case that a supernatural is found or created outside of one of these districts, they're swiftly brought beyond the walls to live with others of their kind.

After a school trip goes disastrously wrong, 16-year-old Alivinia "Vin" Clearwater-Frigg begins to see the consequences of these borders. Though her parents raised her as a human, she discovers that magic may have been concealed from her, along with species once thought to be lost from the world. Thrust into a world she knows very little about, Vin is torn between trying to stay with her family and discovering the depths of her newfound powers. As she meets other supernatural friends and allies who help her discover the lighter side of life beyond the walls, they help her uncover the origin of her magic and conceal the truth of her existence from a government seeking to use her for their own gain.
