Beyond the Fairy Tale (Simply Put)

"Beyond The Fairy Tale, Simply Put" is a book that negates the fairy tale aspect of true bible "stories". By the use of first person narration the reader will be able to experience first hand the tragedy of the Flood, the horrors of Christ's Crucifixion, the suffering of Job, the fear experienced by Jonah and the self-inflicted death of Samson.

The heavens were parting, allowing steady sheets of water to pound against the waters rushing from the earth. Can you imagine? Water coming from the sky? Screams of terror were reverberating throughout the countryside. People were running like stampeding cattle to higher ground, trying to escape this calamity.

My children's pleas still echo in my ears. "Father, help me!" "Father, mother, catch me, please!" I fought to grab my daughter, but to no avail! Frantically I reached for my small son, but the waters were hitting me with such force that I could not keep on my feet. I made several attempts to reach my children, but uprooted trees and particles of wood from collapsed buildings were tumbling end-over-end through the waters and constantly knocking me down.
