Beyond Five in a Row Ages 8-12 Volume 2 Literature Based Unit Study

This is volume 2 in the Beyond Five in a Row unit studies series. It is free-standing. You do not need to start with volume 1. You do not study specific academic subjects on specific days of the week, unlike Five in a Row. Instead, you guide your student to study from History, Geography, Language Arts, Science, Fine Arts, and Human Relationships with varying degrees of emphasis each week. You do need to supplement with arithmeic, grammar, spelling and penmanship if using this as a comprehensive curriculum for home studies. Real books are used to build the unit studies, such as Sarah PLain and Tall, The Story of George Washington Carver, Skylark, and Hellen Keller.
