About the Author
After more than thirty years working, writing and volunteering on behalf of New England's early history, Patricia Quigley Wall has developed a strong interest in that region's early African American history. Her first novel on that topic, CHILD OUT OF PLACE, awakened interest among thousands of 4th and 5th graders, their teachers and parents. Mrs. Wall grew up in Germantown, PA and now lives in Maine.
