About the Author

Steve has had a broad exposure to God s creation. Hunting, fishing, camping, and outdoor activities were a form of religion for him earlier in life. Then He had an encounter with the God of Creation which transformed his life. He and Kristi discovered the wonderful abundant life of following Jesus, and have grown in their love for the outdoors in much deeper ways as a result. Steve has worked in camping ministries, the logging industry, wildlife research, ranching, firefighting, and factory work. He served as a soldier in the United States Marine Corps and has also been a security guard, furniture delivery man, teacher, special education aid, administrator, missionary teacher overseas, pastor, dorm parent, adjunct faculty at a Bible college, and a church planter. His passion for creation stewardship as an act of worship and honor to the Creator fueled his completion of this book.
