Hardback bound in brown cloth-covered boards with gilt title on the spine. Book has edge wear with sunned spine and also a spot on the spine. There is a partial church bookplate inside front cover and gift inscription on first end page. There are no other internal marks. Book provides religious guidance for merchants, who were apparently ignored otherwise by the church. This is a 1869 Sixth Edition of the 1853 original copyright. 420 pages.
