This is one of the most radical presentations of the Bible since Gutenberg. It is designed for people of all ages, especially those from non-Christian and non-western cultures and backgrounds.
Where there is primary narrative, the text is set clearly without interruption in single column, as you would find in a novel or short story. The rest of the Bible (lists, laws, poetry, letters etc) is set in double column.
66 book introductions, 14 maps, black and white illustrations and helpful notes beside the text throughout make this one of the most accessible bibles available today.
About the NIrV
The New International Reader's Version (NIrV) was created for readers of English as a second language. The translation has been deliberately crafted to make the scriptures accessible for those of other faiths or none, making it ideal for evangelism.
The NIrV has been used worldwide since 2005 and it has been warmly welcomed and praised across all continents.
