PreSchool-Grade K-- This delightful story with a clean-up-your-room message is filled with little surprises in a humorous storyline. As in her previous picture books about Roger the pig, Gretz sets the stage on the title page. Here, pigs scurry and clean. As the story opens, the pigs are preparing for Aunt Lulu's birthday party. Roger must clean his disorderly room because his aunt will sleep there, but he first must find his marbles. The vibrantly colored artwork invites reader participation in his search for his missing marbles. There are some nice touches, such as the front endpapers filled with loose marbles, while the back endpapers show them more organized.
