WHAT YOU DO FOR A FEW WILL ALWAYS HAVE MORE POTENTIAL THAN WHAT YOU DO FOR MANY.

If you are a small group leader of adults (or you're thinking about becoming one), you're the hero of the church. You have the courage to focus on a small community of people and make a difference one discussion, one lesson, and one group meeting at time. You are following the last command Jesus gave His followers: Go make disciples and change the world.

In Big Change, Small Groups, Heather Zempel explores the four primary tasks every small group leader of adults needs to know. She takes what can be an overwhelming role and boils it down to its essence in this practical, and inspiring, how-to guide.

Heather Zempel currently leads the discipleship efforts at National Community Church in Washington, DC, where she oversees small groups, directs leadership development training, and serves on the weekend teaching team. She worked as an environmental engineer and as a policy consultant on energy and environment in the United States Senate before coming on staff at National Community Church. Heather is the author of Sacred Roads, Community Is Messy, and Amazed and Confused.
