Book Description
Big Data Architects are the "masters" of data, and their role is one of very high value in the market today. Handling big data, which includes a lot of data of good and bad quality is not an easy task. The prime job for any Big Data architect is to build an end-to-end Big Data solution that integrates data from different sources, and analyzes it to find useful hidden insights. This book will show you how to do just that.
This book will take you through developing a complete, end-to-end big data pipeline which will lay the foundation of, and provide you with the necessary knowledge required to be a Big Data architect. Right from understanding the design considerations to implementing a solid, efficient and scalable data pipeline, this book covers it all. It also gives you an overview of how you can leverage the power of various Big Data tools such as Apache Hadoop, ElasticSearch and more, and bring them together to build an efficient Big Data solution.
By the end of this book, the readers will be able to build their own design system which integrates, maintains, visualizes and monitors your data and will help the readers to ensure a smooth design flow among each process, making insights come alive.
What you will learn
- Hadoop Ecosystem and relevant Apache projects
- Understand and compare NoSQL database and essential Software Architecture
- Cloud infrastructure design considerations for Big Data
- Application scenario of Big Data tools to perform day-to-day activities
- Learn how to analyze and visualize your results to uncover valuable insights
