364 pp, ill. Through East Africa's best shooting grounds. Elephant, lion, rhino and buffalo. A gemsbuck was named after Tjader in honor of his contribution to hunting knowledge. Tjader made three long, eminently successful trips to British and German East Africa and Uganda. The book deals with the big five plus other game and comments on things the author learned from his professional hunters. A worthwhile book. vg+ in orig. red gilt cloth (spine faded). Copies come in both green and red cloth though green is more common.
