The Big Heart

We are independent booksellers, photographers, and curators based in Vermont. Our bookstore operates within the Vermont Center for Photography (VCP), a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to the appreciation and understanding of photography and visual culture. Many of the books we list come from carefully assembled personal, donated, or institutional collections associated with photographers, artists, and collectors, and have been well cared for in studio, library, or archival environments. We take accuracy in descriptions seriously and aim to represent condition, edition, and any notable details as clearly and honestly as possible. All books are stored in a clean, smoke-free environment and packed securely for shipping. Orders are shipped promptly, and we communicate clearly if any questions arise.
