Author Karen Giles Clark spent her childhood as a Missionary Kid overseas, where she endured many relocations. She still struggles to put down permanent roots due to the many times she has relocated because of job transfers. Her insight has given her strategies to cope and flourish with each new adventure. Her strong faith has been the foundation that has allowed her to grow and thrive in each situation. As a Professional Home Stager, she has assisted families as they prepare to move, and provides them with this book to help children cope with the emotional process of starting over. Her previous writings can be found in personal blogs and Bible study lessons. The storm in Big Changes For Little Bugs, was inspired by an actual event that took place at her home after the hurricanes of 2017. The displacement and loss that families in the affected areas experienced moved her to write this book to bring hope, humor, and encouragement to children.
