The Big Parade

It is Fourth of July, and the Fisher family are off to see the Independence Day Parade. Men and women in uniform march by, massive floats carry people in costume, the band strikes up, the streets are blanketed in red white and blue. At every turn there is something new, something wonderful.

The Big Parade, the third book in Gene and Bobbie Carnell's All-American Series, tells the story of one family's experience at the Fourth of July Parade, and the lessons they all learned along the way. Throughout the story, a child, ages 5 - 10, not only gains some appreciation about what celebrating our nation's independence even means, but also a few important lessons about joining together with others, and creating unity and oneness with those around us.

Each book in the All-American series teaches a timeless truth needed for all people to live respectfully and successfully. These books highlight qualities of life required for all generations and highlight the history and patriotism of the United States of America. Book 1 Pride; Book 2 Purpose; Book 3 Patriotism; Book 4 - Participation; Book 5 Providential Care.
