Monotone illustrations on nearly every page depict the antics of the shooting party in England during the second half of the 19th century. Fine blue cloth with gilt crown on front and titles on spine, lower edge slightly rubbed, else fine. Internals As New.The author traces the history of the art of shooting through its most ambitious period and provides entertaining insight into the elaborate and often hilarious ritual which surrounded these shooting parties.
