Bill the Bat Finds His Way Home

Bill the Bat Finds His Way Home is a hardcover rhyming children's picture book about a lost bat and his search for home. The animals in Bill the Bat view the world from a human perspective and try to problem solve. This book is beautifully illustrated by Italian artist Manuela Pentangelo and told in a rhythmic cadence that makes this story as much fun for mom and dad as it does for the children. Manuela Pentangelo creates a bat like no other. Bill is a Disney style character dressed with aerial goggles and radar. The story is cleverly written by Daryl K. Cobb and is the first in a series of Bill the bat stories. An amusing tale for children ages 0 to 8.

About the Author Daryl is an author, singer/songwriter, actor, movie buff and story teller. In his spare time, he likes to take on projects around his house. He spends most of his free time with his wife and children. Most of his written work is specifically geared for children, originally created for his own children as bedtime stories. Daryl's writing began in college as a Theatre Arts major. He found a freshman writing class inspiring and, combined with his love for music and guitar, he discovered that he had a talent that would motivate him for years to come. Daryl's main passion through the years has always been music. He is a member of the Nashville's Song Writer's Association and has been writing music for more than 25 years. Daryl has said that he sees himself as a story teller, whether the story is told by song or through books. That is why the transition from writing for music to writing children's stories was easy for Daryl. He finds that his ideas for new characters and stories are endless with inspiration from his own children. Daryl is a member of the Society of Children s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
