About the Author
Rivera Sun is the author of
Billionaire Buddha, The Dandelion Insurrection. The Way Between and
Steam Drills, Treadmills, and Shooting Stars, as well as nine plays, a study guide to nonviolent action, two books of poetry, and hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles.
She has red hair, a twin sister, and a fondness for esoteric mystics. Rivera Sun is the cohost of Occupy Radio and Love and Revolution Radio and the cofounder of the Love-In-Action Network. She went to Bennington College to study writing as a Harcourt Scholar and graduated with a degree in dance.
She lives in an earthship house in New Mexico, where she grows tomatoes, bakes sourdough bread, and writes poetry, plays, and novels on the side. Rivera has been an aerial dancer, a bike messenger, and a gung-fu style tea server. Everything else about her - except her writing - is perfectly ordinary. riverasun.com
