219pgs. Gray cloth, White lettering on spine. A touch of toning to the extremities, otherwise a clean, unmarked copy. 108 illustratioins 72 in full color. Unclipped pictorial jacket has a closed tear on the upper rear panel and the front flap is detached. It heals well in a mylar sleeve. Scarce to find in this edition. Billy Baldwin decorated the homes of the famous, including In 1952, he formed his own firm, Baldwin and Martin, with Edward Martin. They decorated the White House of John F. Kennedy, and designed the houses and apartments of many well-known people, such as Cole Porter, Mary Wells Lawrence, Billy Rose, Rachel Lambert Mellon and Paul Mellon, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Mike Nichols, Harvey Ladew, William S. Paley, Pauline de Rothschild, Greta Garbo, Barbara Hutton, and Diana Vreeland. Size: Quarto.

The Chatham Bookseller has been in historic Madison, NJ for more than fifty years. Ours is a general shop which emphasizes good literature, art and scholarly books in many different fields. We specialize in rare books, modern first editions and ephemera. The shop is open six days a week and we encourage browsing. We are happy to bring out books listed online upon request. We also do book searches and appraisals. Since April 2026, The Chatham Bookseller has been owned and operated by Kate Park. The store hours are 10-5:30 Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday. …
