Originally from Gateshead in the northeast of England, Ruth (AKA Ruby Cielo) has spent a lifetime nurturing growth, whether in classrooms, communities, or now on the page. A proud mother of three and devoted grandmother, her family remains the heart of everything she does. After years dedicated to education and community development, she followed the call of the sun to southern Spain, where she now writes tales rooted in resilience, curiosity, and the untold lives of women who dared more than history allowed.
