Biochemistry Explained employs an innovative approach which has proven highly successful in the author's own classes. Currently a senior lecturer at the University of Western Sydney, Australia where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in biochemistry, pharmacology and pathophysiology, Dr Millar's research involves understanding intracellular pathways in the lacrimal gland and corneal epithelium, and retinal neurotransmission.
