Dark tan full leather binding with slightly raised bands on the spine and gilt titles. Marble paper end papers. Steel engraved frontispiece and alternative title page, " The Biographical Treasury Consisting of Notices Of the Lives of Eminent Persons of all Ages and Nations From The Earliest Period to the Present Time." The leather binding shows a little wear on the spine but is firm with no splits. Contents are very clean, a little tanning on preliminary pages.
