About the Author
V Bhaskaran Kartha retired as Scientific Officer and Head of Spectroscopy Division at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Bombay, India. He was Visiting Scientist at the National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa, Chalmers University of Technology in Goteborg SWEDEN, NIST in Washington DC, MIT, Cambridge, Boston and Head and Senior Scientist, Centre for Laser Spectroscopy, Manipal University, India.
Santhosh Chidangil is Professor and Head of the Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics at Manipal University, India. He worked as Research Associate at Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Assistant Professor at Academy of Medical Sciences, Kerala, India, and Assistant Professor at Centre for Laser Spectroscopy at Manipal University, India.
