He has authored twenty books in the areas of psychotherapy, neurobiology, and psychopharmacology, and coauthored Clinical Psychopharmacology Made Ridiculously Simple and Handbook of Clinical Psychopharmacology for Therapists. Preston is a fellow of the American Psychological Association and has lectured internationally.

Ruth C. White, PhD, is assistant professor of social work at Seattle University in Seattle, WA. She received her doctorate in social welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.
