About the Author

He spent eight years working on conservation projects in China. He has published Wild China, A Photoguide to the Birds of China, and A Field Guide to the Birds of Borneo, Sumatra, Java and Bali.

Nigel Hicks is a professional photographer based in Devon. His portfolio includes a wide range of natural history subjects.
