TERMS: Orders may be placed by e-mail (orders@buteobooks.com). We encourage customers to contact us directly to verify availability, condition, and shipping instructions. Sales tax will be charged when shipping to California. Please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery. Expedited services via Priority Mail or United Parcel Service are also available. Shipping and handling charges for international orders will be quoted. USPS Priority Mail and Express Mail are options. Delivery not guaranteed unless shipped via a traceable, insured method, such as Express Mail or UPS. In-person pickup available at our San Rafael, California shop.

Shipping terms
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, extra shipping may be required. Domestic shipping: Economy is $5 for one book and $1 for each additional book. Expedited is $9 for one book and $2 for each additional book. International shipping: Our base economy rate pays for a USPS Priority Mail flat-rate envelope. This accommodates most small books. Larger books may be shipped in a flat-rate box. The cheapest method for international shipping is USPS Priority Mail. Other methods are available, and will be quoted upon request. Orders usually ship in 2 business days or less. If delivery is needed faster than the expedited 2-6 day delivery, please ask for a quote. We can offer services as fast as Next Day Air.
