We are situated in the heart of the "HARDY COUNTRY", just outside Dorchester on the Road to Bournemouth. Our miscellaneous stock is interesting and changes frequently. We also stock some antique maps (mostly of Dorset) and some engravings of mostly local views. Member of ABA and ILAB.

All overseas orders must be paid in
advance either by credit card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, paypal) or by
cheque / money order in Pound Sterling. Postage, insurance and packing is extra.
Books can be returned within 14 days upon receipt (please let us straight away).
If the book was wrongly described, we will refund your return postage. If you
just changed your mind, we would you expect you to refund our postage to you. We
try to give as careful a description as possible, but we do not mention private
library labels or inscriptions, slight foxing, or very minor other faults -
unless these seriously affect the value of the book.
All items remain the property of The Antique Map & Bookshop until payment has
