About the Author: Bob Morse Has seen over 830 species of birds in the United States, written or published nine bird books, and regularly lectures on how to attract birds to your yard. He lives in south Puget Sound (Olympia) and has birded for over 40 years in the greater Puget Sound area.Tom Aversa Co-author of Birds of the Willamette Valley and Birds of Southwestern British Columbia, records compiler for the Washington Ornithological Society, member of the Washington Bird Records Committee, has worked at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle since arriving from Massachusetts in 1996.Hal Opperman Principal author of a Birder's Guide to Washington and co-author of Birds of the Willamette Valley and Birds of Southwestern British Columbia, has lived in the Seattle area since 1967.
