London and New York: Frederick Warne & Co., Ltd., 1952. Nature Field Series, Volume Two, published 1952. . Illustrated throughout in full color. Includes index to scientific names. Green cloth with black lettering, eighty-three pages, illustrated dustjacket. The book is very good condition with two-toned endpapers where newsclippings were originally kept, lightly rubbed edges, sound text block, good hinges, inscription on front free endpaper, otherwise clean pages with no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket not priceclipped and is in good condition with some light translucent surface soil to the front cover (not obstructing design), rubbed spine panel joints. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
