The Birth of Christ - A Forensic Analysis

The most significant event in the history of mankind was the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ the Son of God on the Cross of Calvary. Equally important was the virgin birth of Jesus Christ to the virgin Mary. The date of Christ's birth has been a subject of debate for over 2000 years. The place of birth is known to be the City of Bethlehem, but the day, month and year is a mystery. The purpose of this book is to present chronological, astronomical and historical forensic evidence that Christ was born on Tishri 15 in 5 BC on the first day of the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles, and died on Nisan 15 on the Feast of Passover in 30 AD. We will examine biblical and historical evidence that could be presented in a court of law. The judge and jury is you. During the course of this investigation we will also provide strong evidence that the Jewish calendar in use today has been in existence for a very long time... possibly as far back as the Exodus from Egypt. A key to when Christ was born is a unique investigation into the service of the 24 courses of Priests which King David established and their orderly service between 7 BC and when Herod's Temple fell to the Romans in 70 AD. The journey to uncover truth and provide forensic evidence that demands a verdict will be well worth your time.
