Birth Control A Statement of Christian Doctrine against the Neo-Malthusians (Edition1st Edition)

"Birth Control: A Statement of Christian Doctrine against the Neo-Malthusians" by Halliday Sutherland presents a compelling argument from a Christian perspective against the practices and ideologies of the Neo-Malthusian movement. Sutherland critiques the moral implications of birth control, emphasizing the sanctity of life and the importance of procreation within the framework of Christian teachings. He articulates a vision of family and society that values the natural order and the divine purpose of human reproduction, urging readers to reconsider the ethical dimensions of population control and contraception. In this work, Sutherland draws on theological principles and historical context to challenge the prevailing attitudes towards birth control in his time. He argues that the promotion of birth control undermines the family unit and societal stability, leading to moral decay. By invoking scripture and Christian doctrine, Sutherland seeks to inspire a return to traditional values that honor life and the responsibilities of parenthood. His passionate defense of these beliefs invites readers to reflect on the broader implications of their choices regarding family planning and societal health.
