Birth Over Thirty (Overcoming Common Problems)

Based on women's own experiences and written from a radical standpoint the author explains how to cope with doctors and midwives; how we find out abut the unborn baby; the emotional highs and lows of having a baby at this age, and of coping after the baby's arrival; how the father can be fully involved, and the psychological impact on him and other members of the family; and the challenges facing the single mother and how she can best meet them. This book is not just for women over thirty who are pregnant. It is also a practical and inspiring book for younger women who are not yet ready for children but need the reassurance that there is still plenty of time. Illustrations.
