Black Acting Methods: Critical Approaches

Black Acting Methods seeks to offer alternatives to the Euro-American performance styles that many actors find themselves working with.

Sharrell D. Luckett is Director of the Helen Weinberger Center for Drama and Playwriting and Professor of Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Cincinnati. She is also founding Director of the Black Acting Methods Studio. 

Tia M. Shaffer is Theatre Director and Fine Arts Chair at South Atlanta High School in Atlanta Public Schools.
