About the Authors

Neil Shulman, M.D., is Assoc. Professor of Medicine at Emory University Medical School. His career has covered a wide spectrum of activities, including conducting clinical research in hypertension for NIH and publishing in this discipline. He co-founded theĀ International Society of Hypertension in BlacksĀ and helped launch the journalĀ Ethnicity & DiseaseĀ and theĀ Heart to Heart Program,Ā which brought children from developing countries to the United States for life-saving heart surgery.
