Black Ranger: A Collection of Poems About a Black Experience

“I had to morph into the Black Ranger and become the world’s biggest issue so that I could grow into the world’s greatest solution.”

Black Ranger: a collection of poems about a Black experience is about the love, pride, and heritage of an African American man whilst capturing a collection of experiences from adolescence to adulthood. Written through the lens of a queer Black writer, readers who identify similarly will be able to relate to Burke’s cultural dynamics and peer reflection.
