Praise for Black Sheep Tries Bleach...

“Refreshing, raw, and (perhaps accidentally) very inspiring, Black Sheep Tries Bleach is the book Lee Volpe fans have been waiting for.”—Avarie Hannah, "Plum 20" blog founder and book reviewer"If you can relate to humor that often seems ‘out of place,' you will love Lee Volpe...she can find it anywhere. Volpe uses my favorite survival skill—capture the humor, no matter what the situation or setting, and the dark and heavy becomes light and, yes, even hilarious. With snack-size humorous stories and great photos, Black Sheep Tries Bleach is what you want to download to your phone and carry with you. Easy. Funny. Very relatable." —Deb Calabria, playwright Founder and director, "Funny That Way" comedy troupe, Atlanta, Georgia

“I’m a new Lee Volpe fan but now, I don’t think she can ever get rid of me. Her type of humor speaks directly to who I am as a comedian. Finding the funny in the simplest of moments and interactions and then layering the comedic moments with meaning and emotion is a true gift. More important than speaking to me as a comedian, it spoke to me as a human. It made appreciate the humor of sex, aging…and death. As a male, the inside view of a woman’s sex life was as funny as it was revealing. Her stories stayed with me and made me want some more. I can’t wait to pick up her book again…and again…and again.”—Will Luera, Director of Improvisational Comedy, Florida Studio Theatre, Sarasota, Florida

In this crazy, politically correct world most of us live in, it's quite refreshing to meet and read the book of someone who is representing us politically incorrect, non-snowflake, chunks of coal. A unique format with each section having you look at our world with a lighter look…we are all still just little kids trying to get along on the playground of life. Thanks, Lee Volpe, for making me feel like a kid again. —Jim Lindsey, Media and Film industry executive, winner of Golden Quill, ADDY, and Silver Medal Awards
