With 25 illustrations, collated and complete. Alongside chapters on Lufira Valley, Johnston falls, and Luapula, Campbell also observes the language, customs, and culture of those he interacts with. Campbell was a Scottish pastor who's missions in Africa have been described in his other works 'In the Heard of Bantuland' and 'Wanderings in Central Africa'. Undated. Dated using JISC from a copy held in the National Library of Scotland. In publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the boards and the spine. A little bumped to the head and the tail of the spine. Front hinge starting but firm. Foxing to the fore edge. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright with a few scattered spots.
