Blessed Is He Who ...: Models of Catholic Manhood

You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with, so spend more time with the Saints! Here are several men that you need to get to know whatever your age or station in life. These short biographies will give you an insight into how to live better, however you’re living.

From Kings to computer nerds, old married couples to single teenagers, these men gave us extraordinary examples of holiness:

• Pier Giorgio Frassati & Carlo Acutis – Here are two extraordinary young men, an athlete and a computer nerd, living on either side of the 20th Century
• Two men of royal stock, Francesco II and Archduke Eugen, lived lives of holiness despite all the world conspiring against them.
• There’s also the simple husband and father, Blessed Luigi. Though he wasn’t a king, he can help all of us treat the women in our lives as queens.

Blessed Is He Who … Models of Catholic Manhood explores the lives of six men who found their greatness in Christ and His Bride, the Church. In six succinct chapters, the authors, noted historian Brian J. Costello and theologian and attorney Scott L. Smith, share with you the uncommon lives of exceptional men who will one day be numbered among the Saints of Heaven, men who can bring all of us closer to sainthood.
