The first part demonstrates how to create a face from its shape to its features, expression, and accessories. The second part offers games and "doodle tricks" that build on the cartooning skills covered earlier. Lots of illustration and little narrative characterize this delightful "how-to" book. While the black-and-white illustrations are simple and easy to duplicate, Blitz encourages youngsters to mix and match facial features and drawing techniques to create original cartoons.
