Blood Stream

Blood Stream, is a 408 page novel about historical action and romance. It's about why Cubans and Americans are compelled to live under the existing political circumstances, and the powerful secret of an ancient rite entombed in the catacombs of the mind.

The story appeals to Baby Boomers because it reveals 40 years of untold perjuries hidden in the history they, themselves, made.

Blood Stream flows to the decisions that confront our children and echoes the incarnations of a mother and her new-born baby daughter. At the age of 20, the daughter departs from this world, for another.

Blood Stream is popular with the reader who loves high adventure with a mystical and historical ring. It is the unavoidable lesson that one generation leaves to the next.

David R. Ferneding is a native South Florida writer. His first book, The End of A1A, is about the Florida Keys, mega yachting in the Caribbean, and Cuba. It can be purchased on Amazon.com

Dave attended 3 years at UCSB and served with the U.S. Navy at the Underwater Swimmers School and went on to become a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer. For the past 23 years he has captained private yachts for international owners. (He began his writing while making the long trans ocean passages around the world.)

His idea for Blood Stream came from the fact that he has been in and out of Cuba more times than Castro.

Dave has a home in Key West, Florida and a son, Rob, who was born on the island in 1962. Rob is now a yacht captain . Dave has a beautiful daughter, Jennifer who is married and keeps busy with Dave's grandchildren, little Jake and Jordan.
