About the Author
Dr. Steve P. Jefferson's experience in high school education ranges close to 30 years. He has worked as a Teacher Assistant, Teacher, Department Chair, Mentor Teacher, Coordinator, and Research Analyst. He has also trained educators and performed workshops on classroom management and differentiated instruction for a number of school districts in the Los Angeles area as well as authored two books. He is currently the Program Administrator for Challenging Minds Academy of Media & Technology a charter school for disadvantaged high school youths. Dr. Jefferson holds a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) from San Diego State University, with an emphasis in Telecommunications, also holds a Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Education from National University, a Masters in International Public Policy & Management (M.P.P.M.) from the University of Southern California and a Doctorate of Education (Ed. D.) focused in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne. Riley Rose McKesson is an author, a professional writer and producer. Rose’s recent documentary project, as co-producer, on the life of Susan Oliver in The Green Girl Movie (www.thegreengirlmovie.com) won Best Documentary at the Valley Film Festival. Rose is a #1 Amazon Kindle author. Her creative accreditations include the WGA Foundation, Storyboard, a Screenplay Development Group at 20th Century Fox Studios, RedShirts (Sci-Fi Writers Group). She holds a B.S. degree from The WP Carey School of Business at ASU and a graduate of The UCLA Writers Program. She has over 10 years experience as an Investment Banking Professional.
