Blossoms of Life: A Recollection of Flowering Verses

In this book the author (not to be confused with the homonymous American photographer Imogen Cunningham) collects some of the poetry she wrote - for private enjoyment only - throughout decades. They are a declaration of love to flowers, indeed. But the flowers themselves are also a means to talk about her life - about the experiences one might have throughout one's life - without the exhibitionism that someone like Imogen cannot stand. Other flowers - other poems - could be added, but these are the ones the author felt comfortable sharing at this point. May they be sufficient for the enjoyment of the reader.

A life is longer than any words one may write. And all one writes is longer than one can remember. But when we remember what we lived through words that we wrote we add more lives to the life we have lived. We collect the memories to make present old stories. And there are no better mnemonic devices than the things we love more. And so, you have it here A collection of flowers, a recollection of a life.
