Dr. John C. Webb served as a professor of music and university administrator for thirty-one years. He taught saxophone and jazz studies at universities in California, Nebraska, Colorado, Wisconsin, and Texas. Dr. Webb's passion for research about happiness began early in his career when he realized that in an environment filled with brilliant minds and talented people, there was an astonishing amount of unhappiness.
