Heavily faded, scuffed, soiled and worn white covers with equally faded red and blue colouring. Edges are heavily worn. Corners are bumped and rubbed. Spine is heavily rubbed, frayed, has a few cracks along its length. Textblock is no longer attached to spine, boards are cocked. Binding seems to be holding together alright. Interior is heavily age-toned and soiled. The free papers and pastedowns have all been filled with more recipes. Occasionally throughout the book the previous owner has added notes to various recipes. An interesting pre WWI Canadian cook book.
