Blue Sunrise: A Riveting Character-driven Hard Sci-fi Adventure (Blue Sun Space Opera)

Can the crew on Mars survive when NASA offers them up as the sacrificial lamb?

The first manned mission to Mars struggles for survival in the harsh and unforgiving environment of the red planet. Ben Allspot, losing his fight with addiction, leaves Earth for work on the Moon but finds no peace in the airless desolation of Earth’s satellite.

Light years away, a genocidally paranoid race of aliens has stolen the technology to destroy all other sentient life in the galaxy. They have been at it for several thousand years with a 100% success rate. They have found Earth.

Strange lights and bursts of radiation emanate from the fringes of our solar system, but it will be some time before NASA understands the danger it represents.

Something’s coming toward Earth. The question is, “how bad will it be?” Can the crew on Mars survive when NASA orders them to lure the alien objects away from Earth?

As Ben battles demons of his own, can he save the only thing he cares about— his family on Earth?
