Bright & colorful hand-tinted double-page Frontis illustration. 12 plates. 212 numbered pages. I see approximately 1/2 dozen or so pages w/ a very few marginal notations done in soft pencil. The previous owner was in the process of writing a biography of Commodore David Porter, USN, when he passed away, so I will let the next owner choose to keep the notes or to erase.
