Third edition. The original gilt-decorated pictorial brown cloth hardcover shows some wear; although the gilt has lost some of its vibrancy, it remains visible. The edges are worn, and there are surface blemishes on the covers. However, the book itself is in very good condition, as is the spine. The binding is perfectly intact, and aside from some foxing, there are no significant flaws on the pages. The book is illustrated throughout.
