Dr Yan Perumal has been a Family Practitioner for over 35 years. He has practised in both Africa and Australia. In this time he has acquired wide experience in a variety of medical conditions prevalent in both developed and developing countries. He practices in the fields of Family Medicine, Occupational Health and Disability Medicine. Dr Perumal has held academic positions in Family Medicine in Australian and South African Medical Universities. In addition he has served in various Healthcare organisations. Dr Perumal and his wife, also a Family Practitioner, are periodically involved in short term medical outreaches in disadvantaged countries in Africa and the Asia Pacific region.
