The Body Politic: Caroline Jordan Series Book 1

2010 - As the global recession grips Ireland, Caroline Jordan is the rising star of Irish Public Relations. Tough and cynical, this businesswoman is on her way to the top - until her main client is found dead at his desk. Minister Fitzpatrick's untimely demise is a disaster for Caroline and her colleagues but when rumours fly that his death wasn't from natural causes, it could well be a disaster for the country!

DS Alan Doyle of the Special Crimes Squad has a dead Minister to investigate but the suspect pool includes the Irish Premier, his cabinet members, high ranking civil servants and Ireland's most obnoxious gangster turned property developer. The SCS has to investigate without being seen to investigate and he's not happy about it.

When Caroline is dragged unwillingly into the mess, the reluctant sleuth has to save her company, keep her new VIP client and evade a ruthless murderer. Can she survive Irish Politics? Can she pursue the sexy but elusive Rory Fitzpatrick?
Fueled by rage, steely determination and vodka, Caroline's going to give it her best effort!
