A Body that Remembered

A Body That Remembered is a deeply personal memoir about the unseen impact of untreated complex trauma and the ways survival can shape the body, mind, and nervous system.

This is the story of one person's experience living with complex PTSD, where years of unprocessed trauma and prolonged survival responses eventually led to adrenal gland dysfunction and a body pushed beyond its limits. Through exhaustion, confusion, fear, and the search for answers, this book follows the journey of learning to understand what the body was communicating, reconnecting with oneself, and beginning the path toward healing.

More than a memoir, each chapter ends with a thoughtful self-reflection, inviting readers to pause, explore their own experiences, and consider how their past may have shaped the way they think, feel, and respond today.

A story of survival, resilience, faith, and transformation, A Body That Remembered is a reminder that healing begins with understanding-and that even after years spent surviving, there is hope for restoration.
