About the Author
Susan L. Engel-Arieli, M.D. received her medical degree from The Chicago Medical School and has been active as a writer, consultant, and medical director of pharmaceutical research. She has written for medical journals, The Chicago Tribune, Glamour, and nationwide association newsletters. She has received awards and honors including: Ten Top College Women of the Nation, Top Medical Student in Neurology, International College of Surgeons Fellowship, Ten Top Tomorrow's Scientists and Engineers by Standard Oil Corporation, Who's Who in The World, Most Prominent Student of the Nation, U.S. Navy award, U.S. Air Force award, and etc. She has served on the boards of directors of several organizations.
